Mrs. Lewis First grade class and Mrs. Ferraro's Grade 2 class had a few visitors today. Avery and Aaron Hazelwood asked their grandfather to bring in their pet snakes. They have 6 snakes, and they told the class all about what they eat, how they open their mouths very wide, and when they shed their skin. The children asked alot of great questions.

The Second Grade students received their First Reconciliation in January. they are now preparing for their First Holy Communion.
The Special Person Luncheon was held on January 26th. The children enjoyed lunch with their special person(s) and visited the Book Fair.
Since Mrs. Ferraro wrote the school song, it is sung every year at the end of our Spirit Day. The Second Grade led the entire student body in singing the song.
Science Snoopers visited our classroom on January 30th. We learned about Ground Hog Day.
Eddie , a blind student from North Branford High, visited our school on February 4TH. Eddie spoke about his seeing eye dog and writing in braile. The children loved asking questions. Eddie's Mom and Mrs. Penziwater were in attendance too.
February - Black History Month -The African American report is due on Monday, February 23rd. A detailed letter was sent home with the children.
Pajama Day was Thursday, February 5th. The children enjoyed wearing their pajamas and enjoying delicious breakfast foods during lunch!
