First Grade has been very busy! In math we have been working on addition, subtraction, tens and ones place values. The class loves math.

Everyone has been receiving fantastic grades on their spelling tests. We are very proud of them

In social studies, we just learned all about the Pilgrims and why they came to America. We even learned why we eat turkey on Thankgiving!

In science, we learned about the differences about day and night. We made individual booklets about what we do in the daytime and nighttime.

We finished our first journal, I hope all the parents enjoyed them.

Our Family Turkey Project was a huge success! I hope all enjoyed working as a family to create your beautifyl turkeys. I enjoyed seeing all the different ideas each family had and the creativity that you all displayed.
