        Third Grade Class

November

November was a very busy month!

In math we are continuing to master subtraction with regrouping. We can not wait to learn our multiplication facts.

Our science lessons have focused on cells. We drew, colored, and labeled an animal cell.

In health we are having fun learning about how our body works. We play pass and volleyball with a beach ball to work out our muscles. We studied how our Musculatory System works.

I enjoyed seeing and meeting all of you during conferences.

The third graders could use some more anti-bacterial wipes and hand santizer.

October

October brought many surprises.

Third grade enjoyed a Happy Halloween fun-filled activity day. We started our day by talking about Saint in our Good News. For snack we had helathy vegetables and fruit. Our activities included crossword puzzles, word searches, and art projects. We all made masks. Some of us chose animals, while others chose spooky faces. Music roced our room whil we worked. We did the Monster Mash!

Third graders had a spook-tacular treat. Mrs. Gowan and Mr. Shatas came into our classroom to make spiders. They were very cute and fun to make. Then we had to use our mides to write a cinquain poem about Halloween. Wh had a great time!
