History debates - 1) senior discounts should be discountinued, 2) universal health care.

Science lab class; analyzing the Periodic Table of Elements.

Read daily newspaper; discuss current events with students, such as universal health care.

Extensive work in the computer lab in all subject areas, especially English and wirtten expression; research paper, etc.

Algebra workouts include solving multi-step equations with and without fractions. The workouts also include decimals equations. The students completed a math project creating balance scale puzzles, these are hanging in our hall, if you come to the school, stop by and try to solve them!

In Geography class the students have been taking field trips to various countries in Asia, watch for their postcards to be arriving in your mail.

Our eighth grade student council representatives delivered all the food donated by our students to the KC101 Stuff-A-Bus.
